Workshop Report
The theme of the second technical session was 'Role of Board in Corporate Governance.' Dr. Suveera Gill introduced the speaker, Prof. Ajay Kumar Garg. She informed the audience about the emphasis that corporate governance reforms have paid to the functioning of the companies’ board of directors (BOD) and board committees in improving governance practices. The session was an attempt to gauge corporate board practices through Indian case studies.
